NNBM ICEBEARS PRESS RELEASE On The Road Somewheres, December 5, 2001 -- The NNBM Icebears Hockey team goalie, Dealie Porchbabe, was rescued by one of her teammates when the goalie mask she was wearing became stuck on the NNBM team bus driver's large ornamental "Grand Champion Goat Roper of 1975" belt buckle. Left wingman Jeremy Atticus said he was the first to notice the predicament she had gotten into when he heard muffled screams coming from the front of the bus. "I went up to the front of the bus and saw that she'd gotten her mask stuck on the buckle again and couldn't get it loose. I just reached down to her mask's strap clasp with my left index finger and pressed RELEASE. It twern't no big deal, I've done it lots of times, " said Atticus. "I thought I wuz gonna smother to def," said Ms. Porchbabe. "I'm not gonna wear my mask on the bus no more." The undefeated Icebears were en route on the team bus to a rematch with Voltaire's Porch this evening at 11 PM est on the Porch home ice. The Icebears defeated the porchers 4-3 earlier this year in an exciting, hard fought game at the NNBM Hockey rink.
