Duke,

I don't mind that you spend your time explaining verses and Hadith dealing with personal hygene etc. However, I would really appreciate it if you can respond to my question about Hadith Qudsi #6 (see my post #672) and its relationship to suicide bombers. This issue is more of a concern to all of us.

Regards,

GDA

DukeCrow,

You stated, "The Hadith are a compilation of the Prophet's teachings and traditions compiled, in this case, by Imam Bukhari. Indeed, because the Hadith were compiled/written by men, it is important to take into consideration the strength of a certain Hadith (i.e., how many sources were used to verify it)."

But there are Hadith that complete the Qu'ran, and clarify it. And if the Hadith are written by men, who are prone to error, how can we then believe the completion of the Qu'ran by the Hadith or the clarification?

Are you saying some completions and clarifications will be more correct than others, depending on their strength, which we can ascertain where? Are you saying based solely on the sources that verified a specific Hadith, that will be the basis of how true it is? What if one person verified it and was sane, and ten others verified something and their nuts?

God Bless,
IGIT
