I've never built one so I'll defer to the more knowledgeable. There are plenty of folks here and on the Dream Machine thread that are experienced in building pc's.

ps Speaking of Nemer, has anybody seen him lately?
pps Bosquedog is into building as well.

KC,
Bare bones machines almost always have the lowest quality
components. Starting from scratch is preferable.
