The same file shows that 2 of 5 retail systems in Japan are powered by the Duron. Page 3 has the details. AMDzone also had this story. EE Times has a story on the challenge of SOI. IBM plans to refute any claims chipzilla has made about SOI at this years Internation Electron Devices Meeting. AMD is using SOI technology in many of their CPUs next year. They worked with IBM and Motorola on the new wafer technology.<<<<<
