I wouldn't short yet. Hold on for the ride north until early Feb, then look for your signal to sell or short. This rally may have no fundamentals yet, but I think the market is looking 9 months out for when those fundamentals appear. As to why Cisco is rising, it is becoming clear that they are taking market share left and right. When the economy comes around, Cisco's earnings will blossom like mad based on those share gains. That's why fund managers and small folks alike are starting to think they need to get in now, so as not to be left behind. Nevermind that we've alright come up from $12 in less than a month's time. I've already locked in some gains, but I'm still holding some shares to hang on for this ride.
