Of course! the problem is that in Islam it is not very clear who is the aggressor, and who is the defender! Was Sadam the aggressor or the defender in 1991? He certainly thought he was the defender. When 7 Arab nations attacked Israel in 1948 after the UN declaration for the Jewish state, were they aggressing or defending?

What about the conquests of Abu Bakr, the first Calif, and then the invasion of Spain by the Omayyads? It looks to me Islam has become what it is today through a succession of aggressive wars. So, how is all this settle with your Koran?
