Well, that's an interesting concern; was 55mph done by executive order or Congress? Who was the prez when that was done?

I have to agree w. you on the idea of Executive Orders. The Executive Branch has steadily increased its power since Lincoln, and needs to go the other direction, dramatically, before we get full-fledged martial law. Or maybe I should say "fuller-fledged".
