Paul - I'd like to start the discussion of a Zstock picking contest. I propose the following rules: Contest dates - 12/28/01 - 1/31/02 picks have to be in before market opens 12/28/01, or 1/2/02 -input welcome each contestant picks 2 stocks, long only either position can be closed any time prior to end of contest and is frozen at that price, proceeds cannot be used to purchase another security Nemer is on the verification committee to keep the scorekeeper honest prizes awarded by susie anything else? what you guys think? larry

XLE Cuz .. I'll pull up some stuff on XLE, but first, I'll give what I see on XOI *(which I KEEP running, along with SOX, XAU, BKX, DRG and XBD) XOI is at a critical junction long term right now at 507 area ... HAS to break here as this is a vital resistance pivot point the slooooooow downward long term move from the 600 level back in the spring makes this RIGHT NOW an important price to break through to sustain the shorter time upward move the past few weeks .... XLE looks very similar to XOI ..... 26.54 and I see 27 as the resistance ..... BUT as I have a "feel" for XOI rather than XLE, I'd say the same kinda thing applies to both ... it is at a critical juncture right now ... today, this week, tomorrow ...... got to break through to keep going up again, this is TA only .... the symbol is the thing to me .... NOT the underlying FA but as I've said in the past .... FA will overpower TA for short term moves, but TA will get me into the profit area FOR ME much better, as I don't have to try and decipher the "news" ......
