Softechie: My dear short friend, high volume rally provides momentum to go even higher. Cover your shorts before it is too late, if I were you (like Zeev, I don't practice short, only long or cash).
Remember that I gambled ENE at 0.60 just a few days ago and said that I could make 100% profits within a few days. Well, it is getting very close now. I wish I bought more when it went to 0.26. I could but miss that killing opportunity. The rule of thumb of making money is to buy when everybody is panic selling the stock to an unimaginable level just like last week ENE case, a classical example.

Delphi is right there, GENERALLY there is at least 2 attempts at resistance--i myself am going to stick with the NDX100 1672 huge resistance line as my marginot line--IF(that is a big if) that is broken i would concede we have a bull-mania leading into a crash and burn scenerio,as in year 2000,but with COMPX 2875 as the super huge godzillian resistance point.Max >>

i think this market action is a terrific demonstration of warren buffet's favorite aphorism: "in the short term the market is a voting machine, in the long term it's a weighing machine."

lottsa money getting voted today, we'll see how much value it retains when the weighing starts. (.5g)

Basis of Rally:
All 5 components of my Nasdaq Business Expectations group of indicators have been moving up smartly, with 1yr Nasdaq Bus. Exp. starting its move at the start of Sept & the contrarian ones in mid-to-late Sept. While 1yr Exp (2 1/2 to 5wk lead) has eased back slightly from its high of a week and a half ago, it's too soon to say if that's significant. It may be that the success in Afghanistan is bleeding through into business sentiment and making everyone see the bright side of things.
