A lady had just called into CNBC, said she lost over 2 million dollars since March 2000, daytrading. She said that her 11 yr old daughter wants lot's of things for X-mas, but she doesn't know whether to charge everything up or not. She's probably one that listened to these talking heads, all the way down. I don't see how these talking heads can sleep at night, saying the stuff they do. There's some real pain out there, IMO. Lot's of people have lost it all, and are in debt, and jobless. These are people that could have been consumers.
