Nope. Not -- rather, 'nary' -- -g- a one.

'Father' describes the 'sire'? LMAO -- is that better? involved who produces the sperm that fertilizes an egg -- ovum -- in the 'Mother' -- female -- at the point where 'conception' takes place.

You seem to be thinking that I use the descriptor, 'father,' out of some religiosity-based -g- language -- reflecting a certain 'belief system' ...

I am not, I can assure you.

Help me out with this new trend of medieval bible-speak, will you?

I'm having a lot of trouble teaching myself to speak in terms of evil and crusades and ... and ... what, the blessed vs. the damned .. hell fire and hades and ... you know ... all that stuff...

How exactly do you 'PC-pro-lifers' refer to the male receptacle of the necessary semen to produce fertilization?

Oops ... hey Secular:

Sorry .. I see what you mean.

I made a typo in one of my posts today regarding the 'male importance' in the role of fertilizing eggs that produce pregnancies ...

No wonder you're confused.

This is what I meant to say:

<<In any case, the 'permission' of the male source of the pregnancy -- or even the
knowledge that this source is involved -- is [Edit] NOT required in order for a woman to have an
abortion.>>

From my post around noon today:
Message 16749487

Sorry to have inadvertantly created such a maelstrom of misunderstanding in your mind about my comments regarding abortion rights of women who get them through yet another typo.

Typos have the potential to ruin things ... and often do, such as printing hundreds of thousands of catalogs for tech products, for example...I've collected lists of such that are hilarious ... although, harmless ... in terms of actual 'damage' to human beings ... not... this is stuff like:

For a snooty country club member newsletter in the pool news section one summer ... board wanted to make a point ... this almost got through final edit/approval from client:

"Reminder: Please clothe swimming babes."

LOL.

Didn't want babies in the club pool in the buff.
