Thats because it was always 2 or 3rd & short because Emmit & the rushing game was so superior. If you look at the QB's with great running game, their YPP & TD's are lower, because they didn't have to rely on the pass to win. If you committed 8 men to stop the rush, Aikman would slice you up with the medium passing game. If you try & think of the great QB's with all the thousands of yardage & TD's, i'll guarantee they didn't have the DOMINANT RUNNING game. Plus, Jimmy Johnson philosophy was run 1st...pass 2nd. Aikmans ACCURACY was his "Qualifyer" for greatness in my book. NO ONE was more accurate!!! And if you add the "If you were starting an all time fantasy team" qualifier, wouldn't accuracy be your 1st attribute? Especially if you had the three best wide receivers of all time to throw to?? Ok, so who are your top 10 WR of all time??? <LOL> Dave - (IMHO of course)
