Sorry.....moving too fast today.

I'm starting to think about selling a covered call on my AMD shares. Unfortunatly I can't sell covered calls in my 401K account so almost 3/4's of my shares can't be used for this.

I don't know much about covered calls...if you sell them, are they converted to AMD shares? Why did you put some in your 401s if you planned to sell them?

What I am thinking of doing is taking money out of my corporate CD and putting it into my portfolio. I have a feeling this recovering from a bear market will prove to be a financial bonanza and I will be able to make up some of my losses from last year.
