George: I don't agree with Barton Biggs.

Zeev was looking for a retest but I don't know what he thinks now. Retests are need to establish a foundation to move forward. There has been none.

There are no earnings to support this market and the market is discounting a "V" shaped recovery to find the "E." My bet is that the "E" does not show up in a timely fashion.

The Presidential cycle is strong and will have its way in the end with another bottom sometime next year. My guess is that the first half will find such a bottom.

I think Justa and George and Barton all basically agree. If we re-test the lows and get to 1425 or so, the lows are in, but we still will fall substantially.

I'm in the camp that is anticipating a drop after the end of January, but we'll have to wait and see how things are then. Tech and manufacturing are in terrible shape right now, so I don't see how these valuations can be supported by economic or fundamental analysis.
