Justa, I was hopping to hit two birds (posts) with a single stone, sorry...If your "bull market" is a secular bull, then I agree with you, my long term "forecast" is for two three bear markets spaced with "bull moves" Like the period 1966/82 except only about 2/3 as long (starting from late 1999). My boundaries are 6000/13500 on the Dow and 1400 to 5300 on the Naz (in the next two years, the best I can see is 4300 on the Naz, but I have been surprised before).

LOL, Justa! Yeah, I'm still into channeling, but I guess I'm doing the wrong type. I should be on the Ms. Cleo thread <G>.

As for our scenarios, it may actually be better if the market drops into the Spring, as lots of people look at their portfolios YOY, so by this time next year things will look better.
