In an afternoon phone call, Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres told Arafat he had 12 hours to arrest 36 Hamas and Islamic Jihad suspects Israel is seeking, the Jerusalem Post said.

Arafat's organization ``needs to stand up and rout out those killers, those murderers who are preventing us from getting a peace process in place,'' Bush said, his voice rising.

Now the different issue is Arafat explaining in Arabic why Intifada was for nothing...than we shall see..
