Compare currencies against other currencies and gold, silver, platinum. Is gold going up or is the Rand in free fall?

<SA gold shares go ballistic, despite the pooh-poohing>

It's that slave labor (over half of costs) that's is the key to their success. Their formula: give the mining unions a 10% wage increase in Rand terms. Then laugh all the way to the bank when the Rand declines 30%, wiping out workers real income in a heart beat and more. As long as they can keep one step ahead of paying a living wage to that large work force they are home free. Problematic, if you ask me.
