That's my point, I just drew a trend line starting April '00 on the weekly chart. AMAT broke that down trend this week.

Why did we break the trend ? I believe 9-11-01 pull the line down significantly. Now it is over responding to the war (9-11-01) and is breaking the overall down trend.

Should or has the fundamentals improved and broke their down trend? Not if you hear NVLS' last CC, and not if layoffs continue, which may happen.

Do you believe the fundamentals have broken this down trend ?

Stan

Another point is, don't fight the market, so I bought 500 in afterhours. I was away from the computer all morning and should have bought back in once the good news started pushing up. I noted once I got to the computer the significant volume today so I did buy, only about 10% in my intraday trade account, still don't want to be total wrong or right.

BWDIK

Good luck.
