Ignorant Grinch, Re: "I would appreciate if you could point me out where the stock repurchase plan is listed when calculating quarterly "earnings""

It's amazing that you can be so stubborn. Stock repurchasing does not count as an operating cost or operating expense, no matter how much you want it to. Net Income is defined as net revenue minus operating costs and expenses. Therefore, money spent on stock repurchasing is categorized under cash flow for the quarter as a deduction in Intel's net assets. No matter how you try to word it, this does not create a "loss" in income.

I also suggest that you look to official government financial forms, such as the one I recently linked to, rather than looking at a press released write-up.

Ali,

Intel, as well as other companies such as IBM, AMD, accounts for their stock purchases under their Statement of Cash Flows.

You are confusing "earnings" with "cash".
