Jacob, and Katherine, Refer to page 223 of MAESTRO. Woodward's book which I know you have previously referred. Note the Greenspan's reference which reads, "According to Greenspan, Information technology, defined the current period. . . . . the idea of being debt free" technology is the key. I just read in the Kiplinger newsletter that 2003 the corporation will be upgrading their computers (possibly starting now) and moving to broadband through 2005.

With Greenspan's screwup this past cycle, I wonder whether he and the Fed will want to take us down this road again in the near future, especially, with the off year elections (2nd of Presidential Cycle) and the 3rc and the 4th years being the best years in the Presidents Cycle.

Does anyone have any updates or sites which give us some technology, etc. expectations during the nine years, prior to the baby boomers retiring as stressed by Harry Dent in his book, Roaring 2000. Wonder what Dent is saying now!
