Mark: I would suggest you look at valuation of this market when compared to that of 1929 as well. At S & P 500 1170 which we closed at tonight, the S & P 500 has one of the highest, if not the highest, P/E ratio ever based on this year's earnings.

It looks like they cut the discount rate 1.5% in 1 year and then held that rate for 3+ more years

So how much was the rate when they cut it 1.5% in 1 year? I think that would matter more than how much they cut.
