When the charts and trends indicate to me that I should be long or short, then I will act accordingly. What I get a kick out of is the constant ranting and admonishing of the "buyers" of this market..."how dare they BUY this market!!" <<I am a PRAGMATIST regards market movements but intellectually i have much greater regard at all times for those that argue on the basis of fundamentals;however, as of yet i have not heard even ONE reasonable argument based on economic fundamentals for this "blue skies" bullness into the future that your camp expounds--not one>> Well first of all...er...I am in no ""camp" <<gg>>...well..maybe the "making money" camp. Second of all....what in the hell does that have to do with ANYTHING about trading the market and making money??? The biggest lesson I learned in trading is distinguishing the "stock" from the "company". Thats all it is Max...I mean it can't get any simpler. If you guys are posting everyday on this board I assume you are trading everyday or every week thus the assumption that you are not "long term" investors. If you are shorting for the long term..well then..my hats of to ya for sticking with your guns.If you guys are ranting constantly about the markets fundamentals then you SHOULD be longer term investors because THEN I could MAYBE understand where you're coming from. But if the bears here are short term traders, the constant unrelenting bearish , we're going to hell posts from this board is just absolutely laughable. Like I have said before, I, too, feel we should have a pullback soon if not to have happened already, but until then....I mean its not rocket science...trade the trend for christs' sake and make money!!! If it fails the trend...after going long for the past months...then put in stops and/or start to nibble on some short positions. But I tell ya...what gets most unbias traders' dander is the arrogance of either longs or shorts. You have to admit, the shorters have had a field day up until the past months...and constantly label "buyers" in this market as idiots. I mean ..who is the idiot?...the guy like Larry who bought the september lows and is still holding that upward trend?...or the shorters who have been absolutely hammered the past two months or so in complete denial?? My whole point is...really..you guys can talk yourself to oblivion about how this economy is going to hell...and try and try to convince yourself."oh its going to fail now...no no...wait..ok..now!...uh..er...well then..for sure ..now!, but believe me when the time comes, I'll be there right with you shorting..BUT WITHOUT THIS BULLSHIT RHETORIC ABOUT THE ECONOMY IS GOING TO HELL AND RUN FOR THE CAVES! But then..thats just me <gg>> TraderXx
