Duke,

I will not debate your Christian or Judaism point because we are supposed to be talking about Islam. But I'll tell you I strongly disagree having studied both extensively!

But comparatively, no true Christian will ever say you can not understand God's word by the English translation of the bible. People might argue about small translational issues here and there, but there is no doubt that someone could read the English translation of the bible and get the heart of God's message. The things that are translatable differences of are of very little importance and definitely are not validly translated as violent.

But let's not discuss that, and stick to eh Qu'ran not being able to be fully understood because of the English translation of it. It does seem unfair of God to have write a book that has major hurdles to overcome to understand it. Wouldn't you think God would want as many people as he could to understand his word, and make it pretty easy to do so?

Yes, far broader topics, such as if an inheritance is left to a man's children, let the son get twice as much as the daughter, because every good Islamist knows that women are "tillage, go in therefore unto your tillage in what manner soever ye will". Why are good Muslims so afraid of women that they must subjugate them? Why are women treated as objects that will be handed to martyrs in Heaven for their pleasure, after those martyrs kill themselves in a suicide bombing?
