It's their money!
Your little homilies do not stretch very far. The government doesn't have anyone's money, they just have lots of IOUs. It makes just as much sense to say it's all the governments because they printed it. The reasons the conservative policies have failed so badly these last couple of decades is that it has all become leadership by slogan and that doesn't solve real world problems.
