I think the SAS troops have been there [in Afghanistan] for a month or more. Of course I don't know, but rumour had it that they were very early in there, in company with British units I guess. They work closely with US too [hence McNutt, a Kiwi, was killed by a US bombing run in Kuwait in error, which also killed some American service men]. globalsecurity.org
