It appears to me that your analogy of evil to a ray of dark light on a mass of people is an easy way to justify killing a mass of people. Indeed evil resided in all the places you stated and it did so because the people who wrested control in those places were evil and the mass of the people followed like lambs as they usually do. This is even more prevalent when "FREEDOM" is limited to what is allowed to heard and seen. The key to stopping evil and the oppression and killing that results is making sure all the data is available to the people. Our country is via our Administration is trying to restrict freedom to the extent the basic premise which keeps America strong and free and hard for evil to overcome is being compromised
