--OT--
1) What kind of market is there for Left sided ablation in treatment for afib? In other words, is afib thought to be usually due to discrete localized lesions amenable to this therapy in most people with afib? What about those with RA > 5cm?
2)Is there a big benefit in cryotherapy for this treatment vs. radioablation (such as CRDM)? Or is market big enough for both modes?

Thanks in advance for your quick thoughts.

That's great Zeev! We appear to be stuck <g>. Are you going to play lunch tactics today? How about MU yesterday, what a jump (and our old friend CCMP). tim

Congatulations!

For some of the rest of us - I looked it up:
Ablation: Surgical excision or amputation of any part of the body (also some unrelated stuff about glaciers and spacecraft reentry. At least I think it is unrelated...)

Zeev, Congratulations. It is an honor to be considered a cyber friend of yours.

Bernie

PS: I simply don't read all the posters anymore. There are just too many. I pretty much know who is worth the time and who isn't.

Congrats

May the number of positive replies exceed the number of your patents issued. There seems to be a lot over a long number of years.

Hi Zeev,

Your patents are very impressive!

I recently bought a heap of DFIB (Cardiac Science Corp) at $2.80. The stock is now traded over $4.

Any thoughts re. the fundies of this stock? Not the charts, just its proprietary technologies.

If you are not familiar with this stock, it's well worth looking into.

TIA,
Ibexx

hey,you toot all you want, zeev, you are da man:) and i want to add a point--this bit <<. The ultrasonic energy causes well distributed nucleation in the supercooled tissue cells and, as a result, the cells rapidly freeze and, due to such freezing, expand and burst their membranes.>> because of a personal experience i know what an excellent area you are working in ---i won't go into details, let's just say i endured extreme physical pain for quite sometime until i finally came upon a cryo-freeze procedure.
The procedure in my instance had one draw back, they could neither use general anaesthesia nor local anaesthesia as i had to tell them myself when the probe had entered it's target.
But i shall never forget that moment when i said "YES!!!!" and they started that freeze mechanism, awesome.
It was a total success where all else had failed.
The target of their procedure i have gathered just froze solid and then fell apart into a fine powder, and in a way that the primary nerve trunk does not record a "severance" and start regrowing. Thus a long ordeal for me was over.
Thanks friend for working on "gadgets":) like that--PaxMax

Wow! Congratulations Zeev,

You never cease to amaze and impress me. As a person who has dealt with arrhythmia for the past 8 years, I can attest to the importance of your work. Have had my heart stopped and restarted twice, but am now able to keep it under control with drugs. Who knows, perhaps someday (hopefully never), I might have to take advantage of your inventive genius.

You have every right to be proud of your work, and I'm proud to be able to say that I know you. BTW, does this mean another appearance in P.M.? Or perhaps the New England Journal of Medicine?

Regards,

Knip
