so what difference will that make to say, the price of gold?

In Euro? Or USD? LOL...

Seeing as IT has yet to appear (first or second coming), and the amazing Qualcomm still spins sand into gold, which it then promptly scatters back amongst the sand (or to the stars, as the case may be) it looks like the world has not changed that much.

Despite a few more revolutions around one axis or another.

So we wouldn't be too far off base projecting more of the same for the next few revolutions (around one axis or another). In which case it would be reasonable to assume very little about the USD vs POG (given that we do not know the primary currency against which the POG is being artificially suppressed).

However, if one is in the business of converting USD to Gold to Euro, then we could conclude that one will get fewer Euros out the back end at constant dollar injection... when all is said and done.
