"Slow rollout" implies problems with supply, not demand. Problems with ILECs dragging their feet on DSL, for one thing. Note also that it took about a year from agreement to actual rollout after AOL agreed to give ELNK access to TW cable customers.

BTW, check that Forbes issue for Rich Karlgaard's column. Quotes the "father of" the Arpanet (no, not Al Gore) as saying 'net traffic (volume of data) has quadrupled this year over last.
