Sorta funny too how Alan Greenspud is setting up a second Bush for a fall with all his rampant money printing and crass market manipulating. Should time the inevitable for a 2003-4 slam on the shrubster after delaying the pain somewhat in 2002. Deja vu all over again. Didn't the Fed already try this nonsense in Fall 1999 - March 2000 with its last liquidity pump ? Sheesh. These white collar criminals (CEO's, etc) who bought off the repoobs (and some demos too sad to say) will be out enjoying the bounty they ripped from the companies that they robbed blind (Enron is but the tip of the iceberg) instead of sitting in prison where they belong. My favorite is the huge million dollar bonuses they convince their creditors to approve in bankruptcy court to keep the ''talent" there while they dismember the rest of the company that they dicked in the first place. Surreal is all I can say. Then finally the broke old seniors trying to live off 1% interest on their CDs and joe sixpack will wake up and get pissed at the total scams these clowns have pulled off. They've co-opted the political system completely by buying off any politicians who should have been the reasonable check and balance against their thieving destruction of this country. As usual, no one will pay attention until there's a crisis. What a country.
