Congratulations to you as well. Once one has had a newborn, it is hard to consider arguments that relegate a newborn child to sub-human status. But I am well versed in the teachings of Pinker and his disciples (of which Tiger belongs,even if unknowingly). It is actually quite frightening that Pinker has such a large audience who are so willing to engage in discussions about the "greater happiness" experienced by society (or a family) when certain undesirables are eliminated.
