Also part of the black community embraces the word when used amongst themselves A little example of how weird this is. I was in a J.H. a short time ago and two black girls came to complain about the dress a female white student had on. When I asked what was wrong with her clothes, they answered, " She's a n..... wanna be! Tell her this is our turf!" I, of course, told them that she must admire them or why else would she dress that way?" I think? they were ok with that answer. At least she wasn't beaten up in the girls' room while I was there. Such inconsistencies!(such anger!) Marie
