It wasn't a lie. AMD hadn't released their numbers, and Otellini underestimated how many units AMD could sell. Otellini even said that all the numbers weren't in yet. Apparently, you don't remember as well as you think.

With all the ambulance chasing lawyer after Intel I don't think they will risk a clear lie. Now, when they ask the question, did they explicitly specify market segment, unit share or $$$ share...
