No.no this is a new born. The old man passed on last year.

Climb on this tiny calf's back as he grows to a mighty BULL! Hopefully he will be as worthy as his predecessor.

Even if valuations do matter the mkt looks ahead as you well know. At the depths of the 1990 recession when the mkt started it's big run the DJA showed a PE of 40!

And those dot com's who's valuations are still silly.............Forget'em they had their day, they no longer speak for the mkt.

Stock-markets are in a recovery due to: purely technical rebound, very low interest rates, optimism about recovery, success of Afghan war so far. I still expect a double dip recession and stock indices to dip below 21Sep01 levels. But I think this is many months off yet.
