Mad, it is only "imagination", in your imagination. When SWMAY and GUMM split up they agreed to walk away with different pieces of the nicotine gum business. That business is anything but through. They simply didn't want the same things. GUMM could have salvaged that relationship had it been worth salvaging. Clearly it was low on their priorities. But don't kid yourself, nicotine gum remains part of their future.

That $16.5 M doesn't all go to Davidson. In fact he sold out in a pretty significant way to Zenzano. I understand his piece of the money is a small fraction of the total. No matter. I doubt he looks at the 45K shares as $315K. It is hardly chump change. Moreover, I am quite sure he would sell if he didn't expect the company to do well. He has no obligation to hold his shares.

Don't forget that Wrigley also bought 200K shares at 7.50. It would make no sense unless they believed it was worth much more.

Go ahead and take your best shot at belittling their value. This stock is where it is because in the view of shareholders it is worth the risk at current price based on what it might accomplish. Yeah, it has taken longer than it probably should have to reach certain milestones, but that doesn't mean it won't. This is the first time that they have been adequately financed to make things happen instead of being totally dependent on others.

Go ahead and criticize management. They deserve some. However, there are plenty of companies who would like to be debt free, have a nice hoard of cash and a growing business.
