And here it is... siliconvalley.com Santa Clara County's October unemployment rate of 6.4 percent exceeded the statewide rate -- 5.9 percent -- for the first time since records were kept in the 1980s, Kleinhenz said. The county's median price, as measured by a CAR survey, decreased almost 9 percent to $481,000 from October 2000. I thought I read somewhere that the valley unemployment rate was actually under 2% at the bottom. Anyone else remember this?
