With that market cap they'll be able to buy Disney and it's theme parks and TV station, name recognition, retail outlets, software division, etc.

On another matter... my sweetie's company does biz with Sony. They think next year they are going to have a great year with some blockbuster movies coming out to ice playstation revenues and improving electronic sales.

Btw. I like yahoo, alot. I just don't see them getting that market cap again unless they have significantly higher revenues or a total reinflation of the bubble.

"Lockheed to quit telecoms, take $1.7 bln charge
BETHESDA, Md., Dec 7 (Reuters) - Defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT - news) on Friday said it would quit the telecommunications business and take a charge of $1.7 billion for the move, prompted by overcapacity across the telecoms sector and deteriorating business conditions in Latin America."

Of course, Enron is a victim too, not to mention the crippling of xo and all the others. This will also help the supply/demand/capacity equation, as the effect works its way through the economy.
