One time I flew a kite using a deep sea rod for string. It was way up there as I had let out close to 600 yards of 60 pound test when the line snapped at the rod tip. The line was enough of a drag that it just kept going up.

HWL...I really had to look back on that response to see what on earth we were talking about.

I was very relieved to see it was kites.
