Agree on the similarity. I commented on that last night on our main thread. Hard to repeat here since there are charts shown etc so to see the real post, the link is at

Look for the post from 11:22 last night. There is actually a dialog where we are hashing out the wedge, the over bought signals and momentum. A later post points out the arguement about valuations has a huge hole in it. Basically earnings have doubled since the 1990 recession but the S&P has gone up 4X it's value then.

Jcav posted a nice chart sowing the wedge clearly in the BKX.

VIX has hit the level where a reversal should be expected which is ominous when coupled with the bullish percent as high as it is yet since the VIX topped out at 1998 levels which at that time had a reversal area such as we are at right now only resulted in a minor pause before powering up further.

The post before that shows the high put call ratio from yesterday which is actually bullish.
