Israel Bombs Mortar Factory
Israel Air Force jets strafed a mortar-shell manufacturing factory in central Gaza early this morning. The factory is located in a neighborhood called Arafat City, next to many buildings of the PA para-military force. Palestinian sources report that 20 people were wounded in the attack.

The Israeli bombing follows the firing of 12 mortar shells by the Arabs yesterday at Jewish communities in Gush Katif. Palestinians fired at an IDF outpost near N'vei Dekalim this morning; no one was hurt. Israeli soldiers captured a terrorist near Netzer Hazani last night. See Arutz-7's latest video clip about a new Gush Katif community, Shirat HaYam, on our homepage at .

Only four days after the government declared the PA a terrorist-supporting entity, Israeli and Palestinian security leaders are meeting this morning at the Erez Checkpoint. Participating at the meeting for the PA are Jibril Rajoub and Muhammad Dahlan. American mediator Gen. Anthony Zinni is also taking part.
