As a thought here...

Have you looked at "quiet" stocks like USON...
Specialty medical management. Selling rather cheap, recession proof, revenues over 1B...currently adjusting their business model to be more profitable and eliminating debt.

USON is not being "pumped"...but with potential to quietly move higher. Insiders buying heavy...

The company is relatively unnoticed at this point.

As to "old economy" stocks...if the economy doesn't pick up...where will the earnings gains come from? And sooner than later...earnings may again become important....lol

Just a thought...

Hi Frank. Speaking of cash, just scalped out of TESOF

and leaving that in the growing cash stash for the ST. Be just my luck for a suitor to immediately surface bidding 10 US$ a share for Tesco.<lol>

Back to the tape.

Later.....
