(OT) Does the Moon loose energy as it orbits the Earth ?

Short answer = Yes

It's all gone into great detail here...

Message 16734304

The moon will not fall on our heads. (I was worried about that too, I had my lawyer on standby to sue Canada!) but if you read the link through...we "lose" the Moon!

One other implication....Darwins "Origin of the species" evolution theory = guff

OT..........Losing the moon?......thats nothing. Consider that we'll collide with the Andromeda Galaxy in 3 billion years. Don't you just hate when that happens?
