I am serious about changing the immigration laws. To have a law and a wholesale ignoring of that law is not good for any society. To make clear where I am coming from - We have a large Mexican-American population here, I interact with many of them, I admire their ethics, intellect and hard work. I wish them to be legal. I have seen them rise in short order from laborers to owning their own successful businesses to becoming professionals. So far as I know, those I intereact with are legal.
