Maybe they noticed they were creating another asset bubble.

Last spring the swamp was literally burning from the worst drought in history. People were clamoring for the government to do something about it. Mother Nature then intervened and rainfall is near normal for the year and the swamp creatures are happy campers. Thus, it is in the Market as well if they can ever figure that out. In any case, would make a great chapter for your book.

Jesting aside, I am entertained when I occasionally un-mute the brokerage infomercial called CNBS. Seems we should now ignore the horrible earnings numbers estimated for next year, because the ANAL-ysts were obviously so wrong last year. <ggg>
