Yeah... but the "announcement" of a 4.8 MILLION dollar deal is equally as surprising. This stuff never used to make it to the press... Most deals today happen because they cost reduce the network. I'm sure this deal is eliminating back-haul expenses, preventing a buildout of more switching fabric due to the use of oversubscription or using statistical muxing gains to reduce transport expenses... Remember the driver of telecom is either revenue enhancing (which rarely happens today) or cost reduction. Don't forget how the technology can be used to drive out costs from the business.
