BTW, Got the columns to finally line up -- I think. SI's fixed font routine sucks.

BK Bill long ago got me to explore TA; however, the accountant in me requires that I follow the FA as well. IMHO, this move has nothing to do with FA or TA. It is a fed induced liquidity pump and when they turn off the pump, the market will resume its normal course.

Actually, the FA data is not widely known, and much of it that is out there is incorrect. We both can probably agree that the reporter of numbers and statistics can paint whatever picture desired. I think they call it the scientific method - one starts with a hypothesis and attempts to prove it.

I should have noted that my figures are based on the median, as I believe that an average is about useless. In any case, I'm sure that it is the smart money that was buying GM on F's bad news that it will have a larger loss than anticipated because of declining credit quality. Of course, this won't affect GM.
