If he can send you an email then it shows that DNS and IP routing from the East Coast are both working. It is possible that someone has put an accidental filter on a router that allows DNS and SMTP traffic but denies HTTP traffic but I doubt that is the explanation. Much more likely to be a limited DNS problem so get him to use the IP address I gave you to type into his browser address bar.

Larry, I'm in Pa on Comcast cable with no problem. I still think he can reboot and not use bookmark , clear all his past page views and that shoudl do it. My email is down now so there may be some other problem.
