They can't go back to the days when the Palestinians had total control over the West Bank, and continually made terrorist attacks against Israel from the high grounds of the West Bank. Arab countries are flooding the Palestinian territories with people, making more difficult for Israel to keep control of the West Bank and Gaza. Can Israel move all Arabs out of the West Bank and Gaza? Would they get world support for that? Can Israel afford to have a "growing" Palestinian menace living next to them? Perhaps the only answer will be found after America's War on Terrorism goes to Stage Two or Stage Three.
