albert, Allow my great wisdom to enlighten you a little more, as I can see that you need it. I shudder to think what would have happened if the "great blessing" of Pearl Harbor had not awakened the Giant (USA). Would Hitler have been given sufficient time to snuff out all the Jews that emanated from Europe and settled Israel? (The country Israel was formed in 1948, as most of us know). Maybe bin Laden and his followers would not be picking on us, and the WTC would still stand! The consequence of Japan bombing Pearl Harbor is why we are fighting the battle in Afghanistan.
