DALLAS, Nov 8, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- PMC Commercial Trust (Amex: PCC chart, msgs) announced third quarter and year-to-date results today. For the three months ended September 30, 2001, net income was $2,536,000, or $0.39 per share, compared to $2,157,000, or $0.33 per share for the three months ended September 30, 2000, representing 18% increases in both net income and earnings per share. The increases were primarily the result of $526,000 in gains from the sale of limited service hotels during the three months ended September 30, 2001.
